Saliva

Biography

Saliva was formed in 1996 in Memphis, Tennessee. During the early 2000s the band became one of the notable names of the American nu metal and alternative rock wave. Originally fronted by singer Josey Scott, it achieved significant commercial success with the album Every Six Seconds, released in 2001, which features the singles Click Click Boom and Your Disease. The following year, Back Into Your System confirmed this momentum and produced the track Always, nominated for a Grammy Award. Saliva's style blends heavy riffs, catchy choruses and spoken passages close to rap. The band has continued its career through several lineup changes over the years, remaining faithful to an energetic and direct brand of rock.
