Nevermore

Biography

Nevermore is an American metal band from Seattle, Washington. It was formed in 1992 on the ashes of the band Sanctuary. Nevermore's music blends different musical influences. The band was formed in 1991 in Seattle under the direction of Warrel Dane and Jim Sheppard, who had previously collaborated in the band Sanctuary. With Warrel Dane on vocals and Jim Sheppard on bass, the group was joined by Jeff Loomis on guitar and Van Williams on drums. The band then released their first self-titled demo in 1992. They caught the attention of Century Media Records label, impressed by Warrel Dane's distinctive voice and Jeff Loomis's self-taught guitar playing.
