Biography

Incubus is an American rock band formed in Calabasas, California, in 1991, led by singer Brandon Boyd. The group stands out for an eclectic style blending alternative rock, funk, metal and electronic influences, constantly evolving from album to album. After heavier beginnings with S.C.I.E.N.C.E. in 1997, the band reached wide recognition with Make Yourself in 1999, driven by Drive and Pardon Me. Morning View, in 2001, confirmed their success with the track Wish You Were Here. Later releases include A Crow Left of the Murder, Light Grenades and the album 8. Known for its musical openness and the charisma of its singer, Incubus remains a major reference point in alternative rock of the 2000s.
