Hacktivist

Biography

From Milton Keynes in England and formed in the early 2010s, Hacktivist offer a bold fusion of djent, that style of metal built on syncopated, low-tuned guitars, and a rap heavily influenced by British grime. The band stands out for angular riffs, fractured rhythms and a dual vocal approach that alternates guttural singing and urban flow. After drawing attention with striking tracks online, they released the album Outside the Box in 2016, then Hyperdialect in 2021, confirming their ability to blend metal aggression with modern hip-hop energy. Carried by frequently committed lyrics, Hacktivist established themselves as one of the most original British representatives of the contemporary crossover scene.
