Gravity Kills
Biography
Hailing from St. Louis, Missouri and formed in the mid-1990s, Gravity Kills belonged to the wave of American industrial rock thriving at the time. The band combined slashing guitars, rhythmic programming and layers of keyboards for a sound at once mechanical and energetic. They drew attention with their self-titled debut album, released in 1996, which featured the single Guilty. That exposure was boosted by the band's presence on film soundtracks, which helped introduce its style to a wider audience. Aesthetically close to acts such as Nine Inch Nails, Gravity Kills remain a name cherished by fans of aggressive electronic rock from the 1990s.
