Fury Fest

Biography

Furyfest is an extreme music festival (punk hardcore, metalcore, grindcore, extreme metal, etc.) created in 2002 under the name Hardcore Furyfest. The second edition took place in Rezé in 2003, then the festival moved to the Parc des expositions du Mans under the name Furyfest. The festival no longer takes place because the company that managed it encountered financial and material problems and filed for bankruptcy at the end of 2005. The successor to Furyfest is Hellfest, which now takes place in Clisson (Loire-Atlantique). A first association was created in 2000 in Clisson under the name "CLS CREW" with the aim of organizing metalcore and punk hardcore concerts in the Nantes region, which made it possible to book bands such as Arkangel or Poison the Well. The success of these concerts led to the launch of a first festival in June 2002.
