Element Eighty

Biography

Element Eighty is an American nu metal band from Tyler, Texas, formed around the year 2000. Its music fits the codes of the genre: heavy, low tuned guitars, tight rhythms and vocals that alternate melodies with more aggressive parts. The band became known thanks to a self-titled album released in the early 2000s, which earned it a degree of visibility on the American rock scene and airplay on specialized radio. Its lyrics often deal with inner tensions and personal themes. Representative of the generation of Texan and American bands that emerged in the wake of nu metal, Element Eighty retains a solid reputation among fans of that early 2000s scene.
