Crossfade
Biography
Crossfade is an American rock band from Columbia, South Carolina, led by singer and guitarist Ed Sloan. Active since the late 1990s, the group developed a sound blending post-grunge and alternative metal, with powerful choruses and introspective lyrics. The band gained recognition in 2004 with its self titled debut album, Crossfade, driven by the single Cold, which became a wide radio success in the United States. The album reached a large audience and established the group in the rock scene of the mid 2000s. Falling Away followed in 2006, then We All Bleed in 2011. Despite a fairly limited discography, Crossfade remains identified with its flagship single and with that heavy, melodic rock sound.
