Creeping Death

Biography

Creeping Death is a single by Metallica. It is the seventh track on the album Ride the Lightning, released on July 27, 1984. The single was released in the United Kingdom in November of that same year. This title is a classic example of the band's thrash style, although slower than the songs on their previous album Kill 'Em All. The central section, built around the cry "Die!" chanted in a threatening manner, combined with a progression of Phrygian chords, is a great moment of fan participation during Metallica concerts.
