Cane Hill
Biography
Hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana, Cane Hill formed in the early 2010s and established itself as one of the notable names in the renewed interest in nu metal. Led by singer Elijah Witt, the band blends groove metal, nu metal and metalcore, with a dark and at times unsettling atmosphere. Their debut album, "Smile", laid the foundations of a heavy, catchy sound, while the follow-up, "Too Far Gone", broadened their palette. The group also explores more atmospheric textures, notably on an acoustic project titled "Kill the Sun". Known for its live energy and provocative aesthetic, Cane Hill has secured a lasting place in the contemporary American alternative metal scene.
