Blackwater Holylight

Biography

Blackwater Holylight is an American band formed in 2015 in Portland, Oregon. They combine doom, psychedelia, shoegaze and heavy rock into a sound both heavy and ethereal, with dreamlike atmospheres. Albums like Veils of Winter and Silence/Motion earned them critical recognition. Their blend of softness and heaviness, led by a mostly female line-up, makes them a singular proposition of the heavy psych scene.
