Anal Cunt

Biography

Anal Cunt, also called AxCx and A.C, is an American grindcore band from Newton, Massachusetts. They are often referred to by their initials A.C. (frequently written AxCx) due to the vulgar nature of their name and the censorship that applies on certain radio stations and in certain publications. Many of their album covers feature simply these same initials. However, the band ultimately manages to subvert this abbreviation by drawing these letters in a way that resembles an anus and a vagina. The band breaks up following the death of singer Seth Putnam in June 2011. Anal Cunt was formed in 1988 in Newton, Massachusetts, by Seth Putnam.
