36 Crazyfists

Biography

36 Crazyfists formed in the mid 1990s in Anchorage, Alaska, before settling in the Portland area. The American band developed a recognizable melodic metalcore, carried by the voice of Brock Lindow, who moves from raw singing to screams with constant emotion. Its albums, among them Bitterness the Star and A Snow Capped Romance, earned it a solid reputation in the 2000s, especially with European audiences, where the band toured many times. The lyrics, often introspective and personal, add a particular depth to songs that are both powerful and melodic, balancing aggression with genuine feeling. Thanks to those numerous tours and an infectious stage energy, 36 Crazyfists established itself over the years as a dependable and respected name in the North American metalcore of its generation.
