Wolfbrigade are back with fresh ammunition. The Swedish lycanthro punk outfit announces « Howl from Underground » arriving October 9th via Metal Blade Records, proving that their 2024 resurgence with « Life Knife Death » was no one-off resurrection.
Pushing Forward on the Comeback Trail
Three years separate their last full-length from this new statement. The veterans waste no time, channeling their trademark aggression through « Cold War Bootlicker », a single that sets the tone for what’s coming. Pre-orders are live, letting fans lock in their copy ahead of the October drop.
Wolfbrigade rides high on the momentum of « Life Knife Death », which reinvigorated their standing as uncompromising punk metal architects. « Howl from Underground » picks up that same raw thread, keeping the political bite and sonic heft that define them. With Metal Blade backing the project, there’s no mistaking the intent: this is a band operating on their own terms, all muscle and message, zero concession to trends. Their return isn’t novelty, it’s necessity.
