The Dillinger Escape Plan is a mathcore band from New Jersey, formed in 1997. With Calculating Infinity (1999), it redefined the limits of the genre through extreme rhythmic complexity and a near-dangerous stage energy. Disbanded in 2017, it remains a legend of experimental metal and chaotic hardcore.
