Biography

Cro-Mags is a major New York hardcore band, formed in 1984 in Manhattan around Harley Flanagan. Their debut The Age of Quarrel (1986) is a peak of the genre, fusing hardcore, metal and Krishna spirituality in a surge of raw energy. Despite internal tensions that became legendary, the band lastingly shaped crossover and generations of hardcore musicians.
