Bold is a youth crew straight edge band from New York State, formed in 1985 while its members were still teenagers, first under the name Crippled Youth. Released on Revelation Records, Speak Out (1988) embodies the positive, unifying energy of the scene. The band is often cited among the defining figures of youth crew.
