Bane
Biography
Bane is an American hardcore band formed in 1995 in Worcester, Massachusetts. Led by singer Aaron Bedard and guitarist Aaron Dalbec (also of Converge), for two decades they embodied a melodic, deeply felt hardcore close to the straight edge movement, where the intensity of the live show mattered as much as the records. The albums It All Comes Down to This (1999), Give Blood (2001) and The Note (2005) made them a scene benchmark, respected for their honesty and their bond with the crowd. After a final record, Don't Wait Up (2014), the band bowed out in 2016 at the end of a long farewell tour.
