Swashbuckle

Biography

Swashbuckle is an American thrash metal band from Mercer County, New Jersey. Like their Scottish friends Alestorm, who dedicated a song to them on their album Back Through Time, Swashbuckle is considered a leading figure and one of the greatest acts in the emerging genre of pirate metal. Swashbuckle was formed in early 2005 when bassist Patrick Henry and guitarist Justin Greczyn met at a Red Lobster restaurant; both became aware of their mutual passion for thrash metal and pirates. Drummer Mike Soganic and guitarist Joe Potash then joined the two other founding members of the band. During 2005 they released their first demo together: Yo Ho Demo.
