Earth Crisis is a metallic hardcore band from Syracuse, New York, formed in 1991. Militantly vegan and straight edge, it laid on Destroy the Machines (1995) the foundations of a heavy, committed hardcore with radical stances. Its influence on the metalcore and militant hardcore of the following years is considerable.
