Deluge

Biography

Deluge is a free BitTorrent client software, licensed under GNU GPL. It is based on Python and GTK+. The program uses the C++ library libtorrent as its own interface for torrent network functionality through the project's own Python bindings. Deluge supports many features such as: BitTorrent protocol encryption, distributed hash table (compatible with Mainline), local peer discovery, FAST extension support, UPnP management, NAT Port Mapping Protocol, proxy management, bandwidth throttling, plugin management, password protection, torrent link addition via RSS with the flexget plugin, remote connection, and magnet links. Deluge allows you to adjust network bandwidth usage for the entire software or for each individual torrent.
