Biography
Black Flag is one of the most influential bands of American hardcore punk, formed in 1976 in Hermosa Beach, California by guitarist Greg Ginn. With the album Damaged (1981), marked by the arrival of singer Henry Rollins, it embodies raw intensity and a relentless touring ethic. Its SST label and its four-bar logo have become major symbols of the underground counterculture.
