Josh Homme and co. made it official on August 25: their ninth album, « Perfecth » — yes, with an « h », the typo is intentional — arrives October 30 on Matador, led by the single « Insignificant Other ». Nine songs about the many shapes of love, per the label.
« Nothing in this world is perfect, but everything seems to be ‘perfecth’, » Homme philosophizes. A slow-burn first single, a deliberately dented title: QOTSA remain the most elegantly warped rock band of their generation, and we’re not complaining.
