Turning Point is a melodic hardcore band from New Jersey, formed in 1988. Starting from a youth crew base, it pushed its writing toward more emotion and nuance, foreshadowing the emergence of 1990s emotional hardcore. Its brief discography is now regarded as influential and ahead of its time.
