Shadows Fall est un groupe de metalcore et de melodic death du Massachusetts, formé au milieu des années 1990. Avec The War Within (2004), il rencontre un large succès en mêlant riffs mélodiques, solos et refrains fédérateurs. Le groupe a fait partie des locomotives de la new wave of American heavy metal.
