Cro-Mags ist eine bedeutende New Yorker Hardcore-Band, 1984 in Manhattan um Harley Flanagan entstanden. Ihr Debüt The Age of Quarrel (1986) ist ein Höhepunkt des Genres und verschmilzt Hardcore, Metal und Krishna-Spiritualität zu einem Ausbruch roher Energie. Trotz legendär gewordener interner Spannungen prägte die Band den Crossover und Generationen von Hardcore-Musikern nachhaltig.
