Biografía

Youth of Today es la banda insignia del movimiento youth crew y de la cultura straight edge, formada en 1985 por Ray Cappo y Porcell entre Connecticut y Nueva York. Con Break Down the Walls (1986) y We're Not in This Alone difundió un hardcore rápido, positivo y militante, que defendía un estilo de vida sin alcohol ni drogas. Su influencia sobre la estética y la ética del hardcore sigue siendo inmensa.
