La Dispute es una banda de post-hardcore de Grand Rapids, Michigan, formada en 2004 en torno al cantante Jordan Dreyer. Desarrolla una escritura cercana al relato y a la poesía hablada, servida por un hardcore dinámico y cambiante, en especial en Rooms of the House. Su enfoque literario la hace singular.
